Dayspring believes that it is very important for every believer in Jesus to be baptized in water.  Not only are you following the example of Jesus when He was baptized by John the Baptist but you are also publicly declaring that your ‘old person’ has been buried (with Christ who died on the cross for us) and your ‘new person’ has been raised (in Christ and lives with our Father God).  

Clothing: Shorts or pants and no white t-shirts or blouses

It is easiest to come wearing your baptism clothes and bring dry clothes to change into after your baptism.  If you will have someone with you to be part of your baptism, please let me know and encourage them to wear their baptism clothes, too.

Items to bring:

1. A complete change of clothes
2. Towel, comb / brush
3. A plastic bag for your wet clothes & towel
