Cody Winkler
Lead Pastor
Cody Winker has been serving in pastoral ministry for 17 years and stepped into the Lead Pastor role at Dayspring Church in January 2020. He is an ordained Assemblies of God minister with an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry from Multnomah University and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Evangel University.
Cody is a gifted communicator that uses humor and personal stories to connect biblical truth to audiences of all ages, demographics, and sizes. Using a biblical worldview as his framework, Cody believes the Bible should shape culture, rather than culture reshaping God’s truth. Cody’s communication style is engaging, inspiring, and practical. He is confident that all believers can enjoy a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led, Spirit-empowered life.
Cody and his wife, Deborah, have been married for 18 years and have served alongside one another in ministry since 2005. Their family mission statement is to bring hope and healing through the message of Jesus Christ in the local church, and to raise up leaders in their God-given purpose. Cody and Deborah have four incredible children: Josiah, Joshua, Lucy, and Charlotte.
