Day 14 - Sunday - January 23, 2022

Ephesians 1:19-20 (NLT)
“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.”

What a prayer by Paul in Ephesians chapter 1. Paul is laying down some incredible theology as well as a promise that will carry you through any situation. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at God’s right hand- is for us who believe in Jesus. WOW! The power that brought a lifeless body life is available to you because you believe in Jesus.

Are there things in your life that feel lifeless? Are there relationships? How about a dream you had but life got in the way? The incredible reality is there is power available to you. This power is available through the Holy Spirit.

Unfortunately, the Holy Spirit has some confusion around Him. Because of bad teaching, tough experiences, or many other things the person and power of the Holy Spirit gets overlooked and under utilized. The Holy Spirit gives you power. Power to breathe life into the dead areas. Power to dream again. Power to thrive in this life!

Like Paul, I pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe in Him.

Today’s Promise: God’s great power is available to you through the promise of the Holy Spirit.
