Day 15: I Can't Do This
Paul is sitting in a prison writing to a church instructing them how to have the best life Jesus offers. In the middle of this prison cell, he pens the words I can do all things through Christ. How we respond in difficulty shows more of what we believe than how we respond in good season. If we continue to say “I can’t do this” we are relying on our own strength, understanding, and preferences. When we have a divine focus on the Kingdom of God not everything will be easy or fun, but everything will be possible. Why? Because our strength comes from Christ. So are you in a season where you are saying “I can’t do this?” If so you might be in the wrong strength. You can do all things through Christ, you can do only easy things through yourself. Do the hard things and let Christ strengthen you.
