Day 10: Tools for the Battle
We are in a spiritual battle in a physical location. The enemy uses strongholds and open doors to keep people from walking in freedom. An experience, the way we were raised, a hurt, addiction from an area of weakness can be used by the enemy as tools to keep us from our God-given potential. However, these same things in the hands of a loving and healing God allow the weak to boldly proclaim “I am strong.” The tools the enemy is using to keep us from freedom can become the tools God uses to help lead others into freedom. What's the difference? Whose hands is your pain in? When we carry our past and pains the enemy can use them easily. But when we put them into God’s hands we beat our plowshares into swords and pruning hooks into spears. We change the makeup of the tool and its use. We move from weakness to strength. Let’s move past the past for the sake of eternity.
