Day 4: The Healing Journey

1 Peter 2:24   

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”   

Everyone needs freedom and freedom is for everyone. Our lives a represented best by an iceberg. The 10% everyone sees is above the waterline. As long as we keep the top 10% looking good, healthy, and whole then no one has to know anything about the 90% below the waterline. Many go through life having the appearance of freedom without the complete benefits of freedom. With the appearance of freedom, we tend to continue to carry past and current hurts and wounds. There is so much more for us! Jesus bore all on the cross so that we could walk in His freedom today. Don’t just give Jesus the top 10% of the iceberg but let Him take you on a healing journey that will bring freedom. After all, free people help free people.
